Monitors
- Effective Date: September 2024
- Announcement Date: July 2024
As part of the UI/UX transformation, the Monitors page in Setup -> Monitoring will be completely removed. Your existing monitors part of the templates will be migrated to Setup > Account > Monitoring > Template in the next release. All your existing monitoring templates will work without any impact but your monitors will be moved inside the template as “Metric Group”. You won’t get any dedicated page for Monitors moving forward.
As a result of this, you do not have an option to reuse the monitor in multiple templates so you have to clone the template and re-adjust it as per your needs.
This process will simplify the template creation, Metrics can be directly added to the templates, and you do not need to add metrics into the monitor and then add the monitor into the template.

We recommend you use the latest version of the Windows Service Monitoring template from the Recommended templates.
