Application patching is used to update third-party applications in selected devices.
Select a client from the All Clients list.
Go Automation > Application Patching > Schedules and click Create.
From Add Job, provide details for the following parameters in Job Details section:
- Select Client: Client name.
- Job Type: Reason for creating the job. For example, you can select the Application Update option to update the application patches.
- Job Name: Unique name for the job process.
After providing details in Job Details section, navigate to Job Schedule section.
From Job Schedule, enter the details for the following details:
Start Date: Start date of the job process.
Recurrence Pattern: Pattern that you want to run the job.
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Run Once
- Never
Devices: Devices that you want to add for patching.
After providing details in Job Schedule section, navigate to Approval Type section.
From Approval Type, select one of the following options:
- Manual Approve
- Auto Approve
Select Alert Required checkbox to get alerts.
Click Save.
The created job is displayed in the Job List page.
The Jobs List page displays the Client Name, Job Name, Job Type, Job Schedule, Devices, UUID, and Run Now. After configuring the Application Update job, run the job by clicking Run Now. Now the selected applications are updated to the latest versions after a certain period of time and updated versions are reflected in the console.
