Public DNS Zones hold the trusted DNS records that will reside on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s nameservers. You can create public zones with publicly available domain names. Private DNS zones contain domain names that resolve DNS queries for private IP addresses within a VCN. You can create private zones to define your own domain name for private address resolution.
Use the Oracle Cloud integration to discover and collect metrics against the OCI DNS Zones

Setup
To set up the Oracle Cloud integration and discover the OCI DNS Zones
service, do the following:
Create a Oracle Cloud (OCI) integration if not available in your installed integrations.
You can select
OCI DNS Zones
during integration or you can edit the existing integration and selectOCI DNS Zones
.Scan to discover the resources at any time independent of the predefined schedule.
Once the scan is completed, you can view the OCI DNS Zones resource under Infrastructure > Resources > Oracle Cloud category.
Create a template. See Create a Template for more information on how to create a template.
Refer to Assign a Template on how to assign a template to a resource.
Click the Metrics tab to view the monitoring data of OCI DNS Zones.
