Risks, Limitations and Assumptions
- The integration can manage critical/recovery failure alerts for the following two scenarios when the user activates App Failure Notifications in the settings:
- Connectivity Exception
- Authentication Exception
- IBM AS400 will send duplicate/repeat failure alert notification for every 6 hours.
- IBM AS400 cannot control monitoring pause/resume actions based on above alerts
- Metrics can be used to monitor IBM-AS400 resource and can generate alerts based on the threshold values.

- Possible and default values of Alert Severity Filter configuration property are INQUIRY, DIAGNOSTIC and Alert Cleared Status property are REPLY
- We have given sample mappings to map IBM-AS400 with OpsRamp Severities as part of Event/Alert Severity Mapping configuration filed. User can modify them as per their use-case at any point of time from app configuration page. Possible OpsRamp Severities are Critical, Warning, Ok, Info.
