Introduction
In infrastructure monitoring , tracking the availability and performance of applications is crucial. You can do this by measuring endpoint availability, performanceand reachability. The HTTP Endpoint Probe is an application designed for monitoring URLs, both HTTP and HTTPS, making it easier to track their status.
Key Usecase
- Identify outages of the target endpoint and help analyze the overall service performance.
- Identify performance bottlenecks that are impacting end-user experience.
For example: Identify and measure page loading time and responsiveness of the endpoint. These can arise due to multiple factors (N/W delays, underlying infrastructure issues, and so on) - Alert on connectivity and other network issues.
Hierarchy of HTTP Endpoint Probe
HTTP Response probe is a single resource application.
